Majority of Dems Say Biden ‘Too Old’ to Serve Another Term

  |   By Polling+ Staff

A new survey from the Associated Press finds a vast majority of the American public -including Democrats- believe Joe Biden is too old to serve another term in the White House. According to the poll, 77% of Americans think Biden’s age is a problem heading into the 2024 general election.

That figure rises to 89% for Republicans and 69% of Democrats. “About three-quarters of the public think Joe Biden is too old to effectively serve as President of the United States. While Republicans are more likely to think so, most Democrats believe it as well. Although Donald Trump is only three years younger than Biden, only about half of the adults agree that he is too old to effectively serve another term. While a large share of Democrats think Trump is too old, significantly fewer Republicans think so,” writes the AP. A majority of voters also support age limits for Supreme Court Justices, members of Congress, and future candidates for President of the United States.
